Transform your fabric scraps into meaningful, one-of-a-kind greeting cards! In this creative workshop, you'll learn how to create tiny "fussy-cut" moments or make patchwork motifs that will be the star of professional-quality stationery.  We'll guide you through crafting a 3.5” patchwork centerpiece that is elegantly framed right inside the card cover. Whether you're celebrating a holiday, sending a "miss you" note, or simply want to have custom stationery on hand, these framed fabric cards are a fantastic scrap-busting project.

This class is open to sewists at any stage. If you can thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a relatively straight line, you're ready to create! We'll combine basic sewing with paper-crafting to achieve a polished look for your cards.

In this class, you will learn how to:

• "Fussy cut" to highlight beautiful fabric motifs

• Construct and assemble a frame card to showcase your textile art

• Design and build custom-sized envelopes for a perfect fit
  

Supplies included: 

We will provide the following tools to use during class.  

• Liquid glue

• Double-sided tape

• Craft knife

• Paper scissors
  

Supplies and tools to bring with you: 

• Small fabric scraps

• Neutral thread

• Pins or clips

• Snips

• Hera marker (or a butter knife from your kitchen)

• Small quilting ruler
