You will pick your preferred pattern, but all three will help you master the art of the classic button-down. From a perfectly crisp collar to expertly finished cuffs, you'll create a timeless, custom-fit shirt that you'll be proud to wear for years to come! 

Pattern Options:

• Jensen button down from Wardrobe by Me - Men’s sizing 2XS-4XL

• Anna Shirt from Wardrobe by Me - Women’s sizing 0-24

• Vernon Button-up Shirt from Cashmerette - Women’s sizing 12-32
  

Class Schedule: 

• Weeks 1 and 2: Sew the muslin and adjust for fit and style

• Weeks 3 and 4: Sewing the final shirt with your fashion fabric
  

What You will Learn:

• Creating front button placket

• The burrito method for a double back yoke 

• Sewing in-set sleeves with a button placket and cuffs

• How to get a fabulous fit from collar to hem
  

Supplies Needed for the First Session:

• Jensen, Anna, or Vernon shirt pattern 

• Tracing paper

• Muslin in the appropriate yardage for your size

• Polyester Thread

• Pins

• Thread snips
  

To ensure that you have the best chance of completing your shirt in four weeks, please come to class with your pattern traced and, if possible, your muslin cut. 

All materials are available in-store with a 10% class discount!
