Ready to start building your handmade wardrobe? In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll make your very own classic tee, choosing from one of the following patterns: the Scout Tee from Grainline Studio, the Montrose Tee from Cashmerette, or The Remy Raglan by Sew House Seven. All of these are modern wardrobe staples—and this 4-session workshop is your chance to make yours fit just right.

Over the first two sessions, we’ll take a deep dive into sizing and fit adjustments by making a muslin (a.k.a. practice version) of the shirt. You’ll learn how to read your measurements, assess your fit, and make pattern adjustments with confidence. In the final two sessions, you’ll sew your shirt in your “fashion fabric,” learning professional finishing techniques along the way.

This class is ideal for confident beginners who are ready to move beyond basic sewing and start building a handmade wardrobe.

Supplies Needed for the First Session:

• Scout Tee, Remy Raglan, or Montrose Tee pattern 

• Tracing paper

• Muslin in the appropriate yardage for your size

• Polyester Thread

• Pins

• Thread snips
  

Supplies Needed for Future Sessions: 

• Fashion fabric in the size you are making  (we suggest linen, cotton, or a linen blend)

• Matching or neutral polyester thread
