Ready to take your tote bag skills up a notch? Join us to make the Pepin Tote by Anna Graham of Noodlehead, a roomy, structured tote packed with thoughtful details and plenty of opportunities to build your bag-making skills.

In this one-session workshop, we’ll work through the construction of the Pepin Tote from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll practice techniques for creating a polished, professional-looking bag and learn tips and tricks you can carry into your next bag-making project.

This class is designed for confident beginners who are comfortable using their sewing machine, sewing a zipper, and are ready for a project with a few more moving parts. By the end of class, you’ll head home with a finished Pepin Tote—and maybe a newfound urge to make one in every fabric combination you can think of.

Peppin Tote Features:

• made entirely of rectangles, no need to cut out templates

What You Will Learn: 

• Key techniques for bag making

What Supplies to Bring:

• 1 yd Exterior Fabric - this should be non-directional - we like canvas, duck, or barkcloth

• 2/3 yd Lining Fabric (includes interior pocket)

• 2 yds Fusible Woven Interfacing - we like Pellon SF101

• 1 spool matching or contrasting thread. There is top-stitching on this tote

• 1 close-ended 20" zipper, for recessed zipper closure 

• 2 pieces of webbing both of which should be 28” in length for handles (56" total), the webbing should be 1-1.5" wide
  
  

Pre-work:

In order to finish your tote in class, we recommend you cut all pattern pieces and have the interfacing applied before coming to class
