In this class we will transform postcards or photos into unique statement pieces by adding cross-stitched motifs. Whether you're a complete beginner who is curious about hand-stitching or a seasoned stitcher looking for a new technique, this class will teach you a relaxing and rewarding way to elevate your souvenir postcards or photos. We’ll guide you through the entire process, from reading patterns and transferring designs to mastering the fundamentals of stitch tension and technique.

This class will teach you how to: 

• Read cross-stitch patterns,

• Transfer patterns to your postcards or photos printed on cardstock, 

• Prepare your photos for stitching

• Stitch with proper tension and other cross stitch basics

What’s included:

• Patterns of motifs

• Graph paper and tools for transferring your motifs to your photo

• Needles, embroidery floss, and other tools for stitching

Don’t want to try a new technique on a postcard or photo of your own? We will have a stack of postcards that you can select from before you take the leap!
