Your serger adventures continue with the next class in our Serger Workshop Series. Join us to make this casual sleeveless top with a timeless silhouette and learn more about constructing woven garments. This class will show you how quickly garments come together when you combine the powers of a standard sewing machine and your serger.

This class is intended for anyone wanting more time with their sergers and garment sewists looking to expand their skills.

What To Bring: 

• Your serger in good working order. It is important that you know the basic use of your serger before class.

• A printed and assembled copy of the pattern(you will receive a link to the pattern site after registration to purchase and print the pattern)

• Pre-washed 54” fabric in the correct yardage for your size  – woven, non-stretch fabric such as cotton, linen, poplin, silk/cotton bends

• ¼” wide bias tape or make your own in advance per pattern instructions 

• ½ yard light-weight interfacing (we recommend SF101)

• 4 buttons (10-13 mm)

• 4 serger cones (three neutral and one in a coordinating color)

• Polyester thread in a coordinating color for finishing touches on a standard sewing machine

• Needles appropriate for your fabric

• A list of recommended tools and notions will be sent in advance of the class.
