In this class, you’ll design a custom project book with a show-stopping fussy cut cover and personalized page layouts for the tools you reach for most. You’ll create a dedicated, portable home for your notions, ensuring you’re always prepared for Open Sews, retreats, or stitching at home. This class is the perfect blend of practical organization and creative expression, helping you bring order to your projects in style.
Want to add a fussy-cut front to your Project Book but need a little extra practice first? Project Book class participants who also register for our fussy-cutting skill-building tutorial on Saturday, August 8 will receive a $25 store credit for taking both classes!
What you will learn:
In this class, you will learn how to

Work with clear vinyl and/or mesh,

Select the correct interfacing for the type of structure you need

Bind bags and books

Install zippers

What supplies to bring:

The pattern (you will receive a link to the pattern site after registration to purchase and print the pattern)

We estimate you will need approximately 3.5 yards of fabric from seven different fabrics (e.g., 7 half-yard cuts, 1 yard plus 3 half yards, and 4 fat quarters). However, since the project is customizable, you may need more or less.

Four closed-ended zippers, minimum of 12” in length
