In this class, you’ll create a sturdy, zippered project bag designed to hold everything from quilt blocks to knitting projects to on-the-go sewing supplies. The bag features a structured, quilted body, a full-zip closure, and a mesh front panel so you can easily see what’s inside—no more digging around for that missing piece.

Finished with a handy grab-and-go handle, this bag is as functional as it is giftable (though we won’t blame you if you keep it for yourself).

Finished size: 11”H x 16”W

This class is perfect for confident beginners and beyond—you’ll build skills in working with quilting layers, installing zippers, and sewing with specialty materials like mesh and interfacing.

Supplies Needed:

3 fat quarters (coordinating fabrics)
Fusible fleece – 13" x 18"
Fusible interfacing – ¼ yard
Lightweight mesh fabric – 8½" x 17"
24" single-slide zipper
Thread to match fabric

Skill Details:	This is a beginner sewing workshop but you should have working knowledge of a sewing machine including winding a bobbin, threading a needle and seam allowances. If you need help with any of these skills, sign up for our Make Friends with your Machine workshop.
