Quilting 101: A 2-Day Beginner Workshop

Ready to make your very first quilt? Join us for Quilting 101 — now offered as a relaxed, two-day workshop designed for total beginners who want a low-stress, hands-on introduction to quilting. You’ll learn every step of the process and go home with a finished lap quilt you can proudly say you made yourself.
We’ll cover the foundations: choosing fabrics, cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, piecing a quilt top, basting, straight-line quilting, binding, and even how to label your quilt to “sign” your work. No experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm!
Schedule
Saturday • 2:00–5:00 PM
We’ll kick things off with supplies, color theory, and fabric prep. You’ll cut your fabrics, plan your layout, and start piecing your quilt top.
Sunday • 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
We’ll pick up right where you left off! You’ll baste your quilt, straight-line quilt it on your machine, square it up, and add binding. If time allows, we’ll finish the session by making a simple label for your quilt.
By the end of the weekend, you’ll have a cozy finished lap quilt (34" × 51") to enjoy for years to come.

Students receive a 10% discount on all class supplies.
