Over six months, you’ll explore foundational and advanced skills, including:
- Precise cutting and pressing for polished, professional results.
- Classic quilt block styles like log cabin, half-square triangles, and flying geese—with a creative twist!
- Nesting seams for crisp, perfect points.
- Fussy cutting to create eye-catching, precise motifs.
Each month, you’ll learn how to manipulate these techniques into unique block designs, unlocking endless possibilities for your quilting projects.

What’s included:
- Registration fee includes Skillbuilding: Quick & Easy Block Tool, the book we’ll use to guide the class. You will receive the book at your first session.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: This is a CONFIDENT beginner-level quilt workshop but not a beginning sewing class. You should know how to use a ruler, and rotary cutter. You should have experience using a sewing machine including winding a bobbin and threading the machine.
Materials Included: Includes the companion book.
Requirements: Use our machines or bring your own. We have cutting tables and pressing stations. You may want to bring your own small cutting mat and rotary cutter to use at your workstation.
Instructor: Amanda Karel
Instructor Bio: Amanda Karel began cross stitching when she was 6 years old.  Over the years, her love for making things expanded into several formats -- sewing garments, baking, crochet, embroidery, macrame, and now quilting.
