Walk with Confidence: A 4-Week Walking Foot Quilting Program

Step into the world of walking foot quilting with confidence! In this focused 4-week series, we’ll work through WALK by Jacquie Gering, exploring core motifs and techniques that will transform your quilting. Whether you’re brand-new to your walking foot or looking to sharpen your skills, this class series will give you the structure, practice, and support you need to grow.
Each 3-hour session builds on the last, guiding you through essential walking foot styles:
- Week 1 – Straight Line + Crosshatch: Learn precision basics that form the foundation of walking foot quilting.
- Week 2 – Focal Points: Create dynamic quilting designs that draw the eye.
- Week 3 – Curves: Explore gentle arcs and marked curves to add movement and flow.
- Week 4 – Reverse: Master direction changes and more complex designs for striking finishes.
By the end of the series, you’ll have a portfolio of quilted samples, the confidence to tackle quilting projects on your own, and a toolkit of techniques you can return to again and again.
