Add to your holiday decor with this darling countdown calendar by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society. This wall hanging has 25 treat pockets ready to be filled with candy and trinkets to count down the holiday season!
Class includes the kit for the Countdown Calendar ($34.99 value) which also has 6 larger elements for quilt blocks and plushies, 17 Happy Holiday bunting triangles, and assorted smaller elements to use as you wish.
You’ll also need:
- 1 yd of fabric for backing
- 1/2 yd binding
- a package of baby batting
- cotton thread

Parking:
Free street parking is available on Germantown Avenue, Carpenter Lane, Meehan Street, and surrounding side streets. Please note that even if parking is free, there may be an enforced time limit. You may need to walk a bit to get to the shop, please plan accordingly.Mass Transit:
The SEPTA 23 bus from Market Street Station in Center City headed towards Chestnut Hill stops directly in front of Needles & Bolts.

| Skill Details: | You should have working knowledge of a sewing machine - how to thread the needle & wind a bobbin. You are welcome to bring your own machine to class but it must be in good working order. I you do not have a machine, we will provide one for you! |

| Instructor Bio: | Sydney is a nonprofit professional who resides in Mt. Airy with her husband, Rollin, and their two cats, Frosty & Babette. She has been sewing since elementary school and comes from a long line of stitchers. She previously taught sewing classes to middle school students through an after-school program in Burlington, Vermont. She loves sharing her love of sewing and fabric with others!
