Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: This class is perfect for those who learned to quilt on their own through YouTube or books and want some hands-on instruction. We also love taking classes as an old timer to see if there are new and better techniques to add to our toolbox! Come see what you might learn!
Requirements: bring 3-4 quilt "sandwiches" (top fabric, batting, backing fabric) to use for practice. They should be between no smaller than 10x10 and no larger than14x14 inches. Solids work great for this. If you are bringing your machine you will need to know how you drop the feed dogs and pack your free motion foot.
Instructor: Catherine Adams
Instructor Bio: Catherine has been sewing for nearly her entire life, and quilting for a decade. She loves learning techniques of all types, from bag-making to embroidery to needle felting. Catherine loves inspiring people to pick up something new…and even better, finish their projects! You can find some of Catherine’s work @catherine_e_adams on Instagram or on display at Needles & Bolts.
