Intro to Cross Stitch: The LOVE Statue



Embark on a journey to master the art of counted cross stitch. Learn how to read patterns, start your stitching correctly, and acquire the necessary tools for a smooth and frustration-free experience.

With a focus on backstitch, cross-stitch, and half-stitch techniques, you'll begin working on a small cross-stitch pattern of the iconic LOVE statue by Robert Indiana, providing you with a delightful project to continue at home.

All supplies are included for this workshop. If you have a pair of small scissors or snips, please bring them. You can also buy a pair at the shop.

Instructor Bio: Amanda Karel began cross stitching when she was 6 years old.  Over the years, her love for making things expanded into several formats -- sewing garments, baking, crochet, embroidery, macrame, and now quilting.
