Instructor: Nichole Vogelsinger
Instructor Bio: A self-taught embroidery artist, Nichole spends time pairing color, pattern, and fabric combinations to create modern hoop art. While growing up, her seamstress mother tried (unsuccessfully) to teach Nichole how to sew. She then began experimenting with non-sewing-related fiber arts, and her appreciation for them grew as she stashed embroidery floss to make friendship bracelets, dabbled in weaving and rug hooking, and learning how to knit. It wasn?t until years later that something clicked and Nichole discovered how captivating the world of fabric could be (and, finally, with help once again from her mom, learned how to wrangle a sewing machine!) In recent years, Nichole discovered her love for creating contemporary hoop art embellished with freestyle embroidery, beads, sequins and lots of fiber! Follow Nichole at @wildboho on Instagram and purchase her book in our shop!
Includes some materials for the class to share such as embroidery floss, sequins & beads.
