Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: This is a great confident beginner class! There are quite a few pieces, so you will want to be comfortable using a rotary cutter. If you need help with a rotary cutter, let us know so we can help! You should be comfortable using a sewing machine and sewing a 1/4" seam allowance.
Materials Included: Bring your own materials. Irons and cutting mats will be provided.
Requirements: rotary cutter with a new blade || 2 fat quarters || 1/2 yard background fabric ||| 1.5 yards for borders + back of pillow || 1-3/4 yard for pillow lining (we used muslin) || 30" x 30" pillow form || 30" zipper (with plastic teeth)

Instructor Bio: Sydney is a nonprofit professional who resides in Mt. Airy with her husband, Rollin, and their two cats, Frosty & Babette. She has been sewing since elementary school and comes from a long line of stitchers. She previously taught sewing classes to middle school students through an after-school program in Burlington, Vermont. She loves sharing her love of sewing and fabric with others!
