Beginner Garment: The Scout/Montrose Tee

In this beginner wardrobe workshops, we'll start with the Scout Tee from Grainline Studio or the Montrose Tee from Cashmerette - an easy tee shirt for beginning garment makers.

Over four 3-hour sessions, you'll take your measurements, make a muslin toile, and stitch up a classic tee that you can sew over and over to start your basic capsule wardrobe. Stitch it in linen, cotton or poplin for a fresh take on a classic.

Sessions 1 & 2 you will work on your muslin, finalizing the fit
Sessions 3 & 4 you will work on your final t-shirt

For this class you will need the following supplies:
- Grainline Scout Tee pattern or Cashmerette Montrose Tee Pattern depending on your bust size
- Tracing paper
- Pins
- Muslin in appropriate yardage for your size
- Fashion Fabric in the correct fabric yardage for your Tee
- Matching or neutral polyester thread

All materials are available in the shop at a 10% discount.
