Make Friends with Your Serger!

Do you have a serger and are afraid of how to thread it? Want a refresher on serger basics? This is the class for you!
Taught by a serger expert, you'll spend two sessions getting to know your serger and how it is a great tool for your sewing projects.

In session 1, you'll learn how all the dials, buttons, and levers work and how to thread the machine.
In session 2, you'll create a sampler of all the different stitches your serger can create!

Both sessions are required for course completion.
Note: your serger must be in good working condition - this is not a repair class. If you received a serger from a friend/family member or purchased one at a garage sale/thrift store please have it serviced before taking this class.

Class fees include:
- a copy of Serger 101: A Field Guide to inspire you on your serger journey
- muslin strips for the stitch sampler.

What to bring to class:
- Serger in working order with all tools and instruction booklets
- Cord and foot controller
- Basic Sewing Supplies: scissors, fabric marker, pins, ruler, seam ripper
- 4 cones of serger thread (4 different colors if possible)
- Extra serger needles if you have them - consult your manual for needle size for your machine
