Make your own gorgeous Japanese-Style Crossback Apron using classic linen or printed quilting cotton for your own unique look.
In this workshop, we'll use the Tessuti Apron Pattern. You will learn basic garment construction and simple sizing techniques. This is considered a beginner garment class and can be taken as a pre-requisite for our more advanced garment courses.
After registration and prior to class, come to the shop or check out the website to choose your linen & thread color along with a link to download the free pattern and pre-class cutting instructions.
Please come to class with all pieces cut out and labeled to maximize our time together - feel free to come to the shop prior to the workshop to cut your pieces!
Class machines will be used for this workshop.
Should have some knowledge of how to use a sewing machine. If unsure, please take our Making Friends with Your Machine workshop prior to this class.
Linen + Thread
Prior to the workshop, stop in the store to select the linen you would like to use for your apron.
You will be required to download the free pattern and pre-cut the pieces prior to the workshop. It is highly recommended to come to an Open Sew prior to the workshop to cut your fabric with the instructor.
